When and why did you join the Club?
I joined in my first year, having been into athletics since I was 15 I wanted to keep it up, knowing the general vibe people involved in athletics gave off.
What has been the highlight of your time with EUAC?
Meeting Jack Fitsall. But seriously - my highlight has to be getting to the BUCS 4x100 final in my first year, after assuming we hadn’t made it through due to an unlucky changeover (I won't name any names), we then broke the university record in the final with a stomping performance from all of us!
My only regret has to be not getting involved in the social side of the club until late in my second year. Whilst come Wednesday many of you first years may have already made two hazy trips to Arena and Best Kebab, I cannot stress enough how great the social side of EUAC is and the friends I have made. Get yourselves down to Mosaic!
What are you planning to do in the future? What have you learned or experienced during your time with us that will help you after University?
Hopefully continue to athletics for as long as possible. In terms of making a living, I’m not entirely sure, but putting on a suit and working 80 hour weeks for a soulless corporate firm appears to be the way it's going.
A final word, from you to the Club please.
I searched for a deep quote because I’m painfully unoriginal, but there weren’t any clichéd enough for my liking. Thanks for a cracking three years EUAC.
